Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 WMV Bit-Rate 8MB
Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 AVI Uncompressed, then Easy h264 Preset Brassemmense HD 720p (big) convertion.
This is a test footage of the next match I am doing. It's a different format (rendering wise) than the other videos. I am just testing out WMV format with 6MB bit-rate. I usually do my videos in mp4 format at round 8MB bit-rate. I am just testing some stuff out in the meantime since I am ahead of schedule in my videos.
I would like to know a better rendering setting for Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 than the usual " render in avi unformated and then use Easy h264 to converted" I don't have 180 GB of free HDD space to do that for a 30 minute video. That is why I want to raise money and build a new computer so that I can do that and Fraps recording or even advance Source Engine Recording.
I embedded the video playing in HD so you can see what I have to deal with. In all, here is the breakdown of what I can do.
MP4 SVP9.0
- Faster rendering
- Darker looking uploading on youtube
WMV SVP9.0
- Takes twice as long to render compare to the above
- Nicer looking than MP4 SVP9.0
AVI SVP9.0 then convert Easy h264
- For every 30 second, about 3GB
- Takes about 4-6 times longer to convert in total.
- Best looking out of them all.
So that is my problem with the computer set up I have. A two year old laptop that is trying it's hardest trying to keep up with the latest stuff that is out there. It struggles even trying to watch 720p videos on youtube sometimes.
So a quick look of what I deal with. I will finish up this set and then upload later in the week.
*BONUS*
Here is a format from this video that I used to but stopped doing it because it crashed often, took about 15 times longer than my first choice, but look as good as the third format.
